C-DAC has been providing technology solutions in Advanced High Performance Computing to the industry in different areas of System Software like Operating Systems, Networking, Compilers, Tools and Software Engineering.

The SSDG Team of Engineers have expertise in the field of Operating Systems, Compilers, System Software Tools and Libraries and Software Engineering. This expertise is manifested via consultancy or turnkey projects to various industries and Govt Agencies.

Some of the projects / consultancy services that have been provided include:

Upgradation of the legacy COMED system to PC based solution
This project involved the development of Coral Compilation system consisting of Coral Cross Compiler, Assembler, Linker, Relocator, Loader, System Libraries and Simulator. Hardware components including an EPROMing station with communication to PC and graphical interface was also delivered.

Developing Assembler for AT382 architecture
A turnkey project for the defense, this involved developing a two pass assembler for the desired AT-382 processor. The indigenously developed assembler was able to produce binary code that was equivalent to the original commercial assembler.

Ada95 Cross Compilation System
Understanding the requirements of an Ada95 compilation system and its feasibility has been completed successfully by making a prototype for the proof-of-concept.
