We are pleased to invite you to "Train the Trainers workshop" under Information Security education & awareness (ISEA) initiative on 28th January 2011 from 10:00am onwards at C-DAC Knowledge Park campus, Bangalore. We request you to kindly nominate one or two teachers from your school to attend this free workshop. This workshop was initially scheduled to be conducted on 23/12/2010; due to vacations many schools requested to reschedule the date hence it is now being conducted on January 28, 2011

Information Security is becoming synonymous with National Security hence Centre for Development Of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in collaboration with Department of Information Technology, Government of India is organizing this one-day workshop. The main objective of this programme is to create Information Security Awareness amongst the teachers who in turn can take this programme back to the students & parents, which will be instrumental in bringing awareness to the children of your schools to protect themselves from the growing various risks on Internet and online menace.

Presentation includes:

• Cyber etiquette
• Animated short film on cyber threats
• Discussion about Information Security Awareness with reference to children
• How to reinforce the essential Internet safety rules at schools
