We take pleasure in inviting you to participate in the "Workshop on Cloud and Grid Computing", which will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 10:00am onwards at ACTS Auditorium, CDAC Knowledge Park, Bangalore. Registration is absolutely free.

The workshop is intended to provide an opportunity to the participants to upgrade their knowledge in recent advances in distributed computing and emerging cloud computing. The workshop will cover technologies for building cloud applications, the latest trends in cloud for the researchers and guidelines on introducing cloud-computing courses in academia.

Cloud Computing is viewed as a Next Revolution / Big Switch in IT and the industry is rapidly shifting its focus from developing applications for PCs to Data Centers and Clouds that enable millions of users make use of software simultaneously. This is creating a huge demand of manpower with skills in Cloud computing area.
